Who we are
The vision for Men of Action (MOA) began in 2009 when Christopher Thomas first started mentoring young and older men, recognizing the transformative power of guidance and support. This early work laid the foundation for what would become MOA. Over the years, Christopher and Dustin Harper, who would later become the co-founder, spent countless hours discussing and shaping the vision for MOA.
In 2022, Christopher took a leap of faith and launched MOA one night, and by the very next couple of meetings, Dustin joined him to help bring the vision to life. Today, MOA is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering men to unlock their full potential. We provide mentorship, resources, and a supportive community to inspire growth, resilience, and purpose. MOA works with underserved men aged 17-65, guiding them to overcome challenges, embrace leadership, and create lasting legacies.
Mission
At Men of Action, we are dedicated to transforming lives by empowering men to overcome challenges, embrace their purpose, and lead with integrity. Through mentorship, education, and leadership development, we strive to create a lasting legacy of resilience and positive change for individuals, families, and communities.
Vision
We envision a world where every man has the opportunity to unlock his full potential, inspiring generations through strength, wisdom, and service. By fostering leaders who build stronger families, communities, and futures, MOA seeks to create a global movement of transformation and hope.
What We Do
Mentorship Programs: One-on-one and group sessions designed to foster growth and leadership.
Community Engagement: Annual speaking engagements, workshops, and gatherings to inspire action.
Prison Outreach: Programs for underprivileged youth and incarcerated men to build confidence and resilience.
Curriculum Development: Writing and publishing books and creating educational resources to extend our impact.
Partnerships: Collaborating with schools, universities, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations to broaden our reach.
Why We Do It
At MOA, we believe that men hold the power to shape the world, but too often, they are held back by lack of guidance, unresolved trauma, or unfulfilled potential. We are driven by a commitment to provide the tools and support needed for men to overcome these barriers and reclaim their lives.
We do this because when men heal, communities heal. When men rise, families thrive. And when men lead with purpose and integrity, the ripple effects create lasting change that touches everyone around them.
MOA exists to ensure no man walks his journey alone, equipping him with the strength to persevere, the wisdom to grow, and the courage to lead a life of profound meaning.
